  •   Benfica midfielder Hassan Yebda could be on his way back to the Premier League, according to the player's agent. The Algerian international spent last season on loan at Portsmouth, but has fallen out of favour at the Portuguese club. 
     
  •   Brighton manager Gus Poyet has told Newcastle to make up their mind over the Seagulls offer to take Kazenga LuaLua on loan. Poyet has warned the Premier League side that the club will look elsewhere if a decision isn't reached soon. Poyet seeks LuaLua answer
  •   DEAL! Portsmouth defender Tal Ben Haim has joined West Ham on loan until January. 
     
  •  Curtis Davies wants to stay at Aston Villa despite being transfer listed. The defender missed most of last season with a shoulder injury, but the 25-year-old is keen to fight for a place in Martin O'Neill's starting XI. 
     
  •   Wolves striker Stefan Maierhofer is on the verge of agreeing a season-long loan move to German side Duisburg. The Austrian international joined the midlands club last summer, but he struggled badly in his first season at Molineux, scoring just once for Mick McCarthy's men. 

  •    Malky Mackay is keen to bring in four of five more players before Watford's season opener this weekend, but the Hornets boss admits he is at the mercy of Premier League clubs as to whether any of his loan targets join the Vicarage Road outfit. Mackay wants more players
  •   Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp could turn his attention to loan deals, having failed to secure moves for Scott Parker and Craig Bellamy. Redknapp has "three players in mind that would not cost a lot of money." He adds: "If we can pull off the deals you are talking about £8million or £9million for three players. Loans would certainly be a real possibility."

  •   Lassana Diarra is close to securing a move to Manchester United, according to Spanish newspaper AS. Sir Alex Ferguson has been a long-time admirer of the Real Madrid midfielder, and it appears the Red Devils are prepared to cough up 24 million euros for the French international.
