BPL: Ten emerging stars

With every new Premier League season comes a fresh crop of young talent.
Last term the likes of Adam Johnson, Jordan Henderson and Jack Rodwell burst onto the scene.
Here is a look at which players could break through this season.

Jack Wilshere, Arsenal
Much has been made of Wilshere's promise but as of yet very little has been seen of him in an Arsenal shirt. With just a handful of first-team appearances under his belt, Arsene Wenger sent the England Under-21 international on loan to Bolton in January.
Wilshere
Owen Coyle was keen to take Wilshere back to the Reebok Stadium for the 2010-11 season after the midfielder impressed him with a string of fine displays, scoring in the process. But it appears that Wenger has Wilshere in his thoughts for this campaign, and do not bet against some involvement with the senior England set-up during the season either.

Greg Cunningham, Manchester City
Operating primarily as a left-back, Cunningham made two substitute appearances under Roberto Mancini last season.
Cunningham
Having already been called up to Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland squad, Cunningham will be focused on breaking into the first team at Eastlands next season, although he now has Aleksandar Kolarov and Wayne Bridge ahead of him in the Blues pecking order.

Fabian Delph, Aston Villa
The 20-year-old has had his first-team opportunities limited at Villa Park since his arrival from Leeds last summer.
Delph
Despite rupturing a cruciate ligament towards the end of last season, Martin O'Neill will expect to have the former Elland Road prospect back around Christmas, bringing fresh competition to his squad which by then might have been weakened by the departure of star man James Milner.

Junior Hoilett, Blackburn
After signing a new two-and-a-half-year contract in February, Hoilett will now set his sights on making his mark on the Rovers first team.
Hoilett
Sam Allardyce has already shown great faith in the Canadian forward and will be hoping Hoilett makes a big impact this season.

Nacer Barazite, Arsenal
Barazite is yet another graduate of the Arsenal youth system, having developed following his move from NEC Nijmegen in 2006.
Bazarite
The Holland Under-21 star has already gained vital experience of English football during a season-long loan with Derby and will hope to see more first-team action this season as Arsene Wenger continues to put his faith in youth.

James McCarthy, Wigan
McCarthy joined Wigan 12 months ago after making over 100 appearances for Hamilton before his 19th birthday. Won his first cap for the Republic of Ireland in a friendly against Brazil, and was regularly involved for Wigan.
McCarthy
McCarthy will now look to build on the experience gained last season and cement his place in Roberto Martinez's plans.

Krisztian Nemeth, Liverpool
Having spent last season on loan to AEK Athens, Nemeth will be back in Liverpool seeking first-team opportunities under new boss Roy Hodgson.
Australian Open 2003 Quarter Final
The Hungary striker will be competing with the likes of David Ngog and Nabil El Zhar for a place on the bench at Anfield this term.

Frank Nouble, West Ham
After rejecting a professional contract with Chelsea, Nouble signed for the Hammers and was quickly thrown into the first team as a substitute against Wolves.
Nouble
In the second part of the season Nouble moved to West Brom and then Swindon on loan, helping the former gain promotion to the Premier League and the latter to reach the League One play-offs.

Martyn Waghorn, Sunderland
Waghorn returns to Sunderland following a string of fruitful loan spells in the Championship. Waghorn was unable to prevent Charlton's relegation in 2009 but was instrumental in Leicester's promotion charge last season.
Waghorn
Waghorn himself missed a penalty in the Championship play-off semi-final but is still held in high regard by Nigel Pearson and Leicester fans.

Jose Baxter, Everton
Baxter may be the next Everton youngster to follow in the footsteps of Jack Rodwell and Dan Gosling by forcing his way onto David Moyes' team sheet.
Baxter
Baxter has been likened to Wayne Rooney and has already begun breaking records by becoming Everton's youngest player to appear in a senior match, at 16 years and 191 days.
