Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has challenged his players to correct the early season away day blues from last season.
If there were any chinks in the Blues' armour last season, their away form would be it.Successive defeats at Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa had given hope to rivals and Ancelotti is focused on ensuring that his squad does not make the same mistakes again.
Speaking to his club's website, Ancelotti declared his charges had to learn from those memories.
He said: "They didn't start well [against Wigan last year],'but we have to learn to play against teams with strong motivation.
"Our aim is to show continuity away from home. Although we did very well last season, away we had some problems. We need to change the direction of this.
The manager will be pleased though, with the quality of Chelsea's display when they crushed new boys West Brom 6-0 over the weekend, a sharp contrast to his side's dismal pre-season form.
